Journal Question

Throughout the book we hear Rose Mary’s complaint: “I’m a grown woman now, why can’t I do what I want to do?”(74). At what point can adults do whatever they want, if at all?

I think that all adults can do whatever they want until it affects someone else they care about. That is what separate one from being childish and being an adult. You see that when kids want something they will do a lot of things and will not care if they get effect people around them like their parents or their friends. Adults have already passed through being childish and have to consider other people’s views and feelings.
